Thanks to the organisers of The Allergy & Free From Show for gifting us a stand at London’s ExCel!

For the three days of 1st-3rd July we were able to take the messages of The Sadie Bristow Foundation to a national audience.
We met so many incredible people over the three days – allergy ambassadors, allergen-safe food entrepreneurs, allergy professionals and so many amazing, amazing families.

It was SO GOOD to connect with like-minded people and talk about things that really matter to us. Our stand was busy with visitors across the three days. We had fun games for children plus lots of great conversations with parents and carers.

Our ‘Questions Wall’ was busy. We invited people to ask what’s really on their minds when it comes to allergies – questions that maybe they haven’t yet been given the answers to by medical professionals. ‘Will there ever be a cure?’ ‘Why don’t airlines serve Free From foods?’ ‘Will I grow out of my allergies?’ were just some of the questions asked.

We may not be able to find out all the answers but we’re going to try and the industry needs to improve and give allergy sufferers more information and confidence.

Knowing Sadie’s Mum, Clare Bristow, she won’t give up until every question is answered and she’s already visiting other research and information events.

The Allergy and Free From Show was a wonderful few days. It was our first time exhibiting for us as a foundation and it was so good to finally meeting people I’ve been chatting to over the last few years! Across the three days there were so such a positive atmosphere and it was great to meet so many stall holders. I hope we all stay in touch.
