Our annual Tennisathon, held on 17th July, in the middle of the hottest heatwave in history, was a huge success once again!
Well done to all who took part and thank you to everyone for attending and helping us to raise £1,500!
We had 18 pairings of players who were split into two groups called ‘Sadie Bristow’ and ‘Ed Glover’ and they played four games per match, playing as many as they could in their group.
Three points were awarded for a win, two for a draw and one for entering.
It was a day of fun for all abilities and the winners were treated to some Wilson goodies.
Tennis was Sadie’s favourite sport. She was the UK U9 champion and she loved to play. She would have enjoyed the day – and beaten us all, no doubt!
