We’re delighted to share that schools can now access free Allergy and Anaphylaxis Training for Schools, an e-learning course developed in partnership with the Sadie Bristow Foundation and delivered through ConnectED.
Every day, school staff play a vital role in keeping children with allergies safe. This essential training builds staff knowledge and confidence to recognise allergic reactions, understand their responsibilities and respond quickly and effectively in an emergency.
The training covers:
- Why allergy awareness matters in schools
- Understanding allergies and anaphylaxis
- Preventing allergic reactions in school
- Responding to an allergic emergency
- Creating an allergy-aware school
- Final assessment to check understanding
School leaders can view and manage staff completion through a central register, making it easy to monitor participation across their organisation.
The training is especially timely with Benedict’s Law introducing mandatory allergy safety measures in schools from September 2026. Please register your interest using the link below.
