The Sadie Bristow Foundation is proud to support “Through the Eyes of Children” — a powerful initiative led by the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI). This inspiring project invites children and young people living with allergies or immune conditions to express their experiences through art.

If you know a child who loves to draw or paint, this is a meaningful opportunity for them to share their unique story and raise awareness on a global stage.

What kind of artwork is being invited?

EAACI welcomes submissions that explore:

  • What it’s like to live with allergies

  • How climate change impacts human health

Where will the artwork be featured?

Selected pieces will be:

  • Published in the EAACI Allergy Journal, personally invited by Editor Prof. Cezmi Akdis.

  • Shared across EAACI’s official social media channels.

  • Exhibited at the EAACI Congress 2025 in Glasgow – an international platform we’re thrilled to be part of.

This initiative celebrates the creativity, insight, and resilience of young people navigating the challenges of allergic and immune conditions. At the Sadie Bristow Foundation, we’re honoured to help amplify their voices.

How to Submit Artwork

To take part, please email: clare@sadiebristowfoundation.org.uk  and please include the following:

  1. Child Information Form with a brief description of the illustration in English (max. 50-100 words)
  2. Copyright Transfer Agreement signed by both parents/legal guards
  3. A high-resolution (600-800 dpi) photo or scan of the illustration

Once we receive the artwork, we’ll get in touch with a few simple forms to complete.

Submissions are welcome year-round, but to be considered for the EAACI Congress 2025 exhibition in Glasgow, we encourage you to send in your child’s art as soon as possible.

By offering children a creative way to share their experiences, we foster understanding, spark meaningful conversation, and shine a light on the realities of living with allergies.
