Join Our Team –Part-Time Charity Assistant (Flexible Working)

Are you an organised and creative individual looking to make a real difference? The Sadie Bristow Foundation is seeking a Part-Time Charity Assistant to help keep our operations running smoothly and assist in promoting our work. If you love multitasking, supporting good causes, and getting involved with social media, we’d love to hear from you!

Who We Are

The Sadie Bristow Foundation is a charity founded by Clare and Stewart Bristow in memory of their daughter Sadie, a talented young tennis player who tragically died at age 9 from an allergic reaction. The charity is dedicated to improving access to information and services for children, families and adults living with allergies, and continuing Sadie’s legacy by providing opportunities for children to play tennis. We are a small charity dependent on the efforts of volunteers and trustees. As our first Charity Assistant you will work alongside the founders and trustees, gain exposure to a variety of activities and help drive our mission forward.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Keeping our database tidy and up to date.
  • Researching potential funding sources – grants, donors, and sponsorships.
  • Scheduling meetings and ensuring everyone is in the right place at the right time.
  • Organising and managing our shared documents so the team can work efficiently.
  • Helping create and schedule social media content to raise awareness of our work.
  • Providing general admin support, from emails to filing.

What We’re Looking For

  • A great organiser with attention to detail.
  • Someone comfortable using spreadsheets, databases, and online tools.
  • A team player who can manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Some experience using social media for promotion (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience in fundraising or charity admin.
  • Worked with CRM systems or grant databases before.
  • Created or scheduled social media content professionally.

What We Offer

  • Flexible working hours (equivalent to 1 day per week, for six months with potential to extend)
  • The chance to make a meaningful impact.
  • A friendly and supportive team.
