Over the October half term, we’ve run 2 days of foundation athletic fundamentals and tennis sessions. We had over 60 children attending each day enjoying athletic ABCs and fundamental tennis movement as well as fun on-court games and match play.

Even in the occasionally, adverse weather conditions it was great so any children having so much fun.

We had 2 schools attending foundation sessions outside the programmes we are running in the local schools (Bridge, Chartham, St Peters & St Stephens Primary Schools).

The sessions were run by 4 coaches who were assisted by trainee leaders and level 1 students. All being ambassadors or connected to the foundation in some manner. All having known Sadie, some for many years. Great to have that connection with the juniors who are Sadie’s colleagues and friends.

As ever, it was wonderful to see children from the age of 4 attending the sessions, having fun and enjoying tennis in an athletic environment

Thank you to all that attended and all that supported – schools, parents and children. Thanks as well to Bridge Tennis Club, a wonderful community village tennis venue.

My Son has absolutely loved it again this week. Stewart is a lovely person & a great teacher. And the same goes for the rest of his team!
